Scaled Intensity.......We talk about INTENSITY all time at the INFERNO.  Its where the magic happens, its what makes all the programming work, it is the time it takes you to do the work.  We have some members in the gym that are animals and get through the workout so quickly at the prescribed weight and reps set.  "There is no way ill be able to that amount that fast!", some may say.  We don't expect this.  What we are looking for is that everyone is working in about the same approximate time frame.  If the workout is planned for between 8-10 minutes and you take 35 then it isn't that you are weak or arent strong enough.  Its that you did the wrong workout; it was scaled wrong.  It isnt just about doing the weight on the website, its about doing as much of that weight as you can in the appropriate time frame.  We want you to keep this in mind when you are deciding what weights to use.  Sometime ill put a % of your 1 rep max to help guide you to the correct weight.  It will take some playing on your part but do the best you can with the trainers help to find the most appropriate weight for the workout.  For today's workout, we are looking for max reps in a prescribed time frame.  So today if you can do the prescribed weight, do it and see how many reps you can get in the time frame.  Have fun!!!
