One of the coolest things about what we do at the INFERNO is develop FUNCTIONALITY.  To be functional means to work correctly in the right situations.  Our bodies have been designed to work a particular way, move a particular way, eat/digest a particular way, rest a particular way, etc.  If you watch how young children move, squat, run, etc, its exactly how the body is supposed to move.  It changes as we get older.  We get lazy, we get weak, we get fat, we use technology to do things for us, we get injured, etc.  All of a sudden......we don't move right anymore!  Sometime we can retrain ourselves to get back to where we are.  This is what we are all trying to do.  But there may be something that will hinder our original functionality.  Now I know some of you are saying your not flexible.  That can be worked on and changed.  I'm talking real body changes. Maybe a back has been fused, or a joint has an issue, or a bone is broken, or a limb is missing, etc. If there is something like this then our goal is to get as close to functional as we can.  It doesn't mean to stop moving.  We want you to get as close as possible.  So just like we say we want you to work to "your RELATIVE intensity or ability level", we also want you to work to "your RELATIVE FUNCTIONALITY" as well.  Keep up the great work everyone!
