So how young is too young to be physically active?  This is a great picture of my daughter, Lex, and her friend Kristy.  Both of them did the San Luis Obispo City to Sea 5K run yesterday.  Look at their smiles, this is what exercise is supposed to be...fun!  An active lifestyle is a fun lifestyle!  It lets you do all those things you would have done before you the "lazy", "busy", "out of shape" adultness set in.  We are built to be active creatures.  Our bodies have movable joints, and muscles that can move us and other objects quickly or over long periods of time.  But we need to get those muscles and those joint back to moving the way they were built to move.  There is no better time than the present to get back to that childhood "funness" of working out.  Yes i know you get tired and pushing hard doesn't feel like someone giving you a massage.  But the endorphins that are released during our workouts are as good as drugs.  This is why its so addictive!  So get on in here and lets have some fun!!!!!
