"But I'm not allergic to bread!!  and its so good for me!"  Right?  Isn't that what the FDA Food Pyramid says?  We tell you all the time that bread is not good for you.  Well, let me give you a story.  Its something that just happened to me.  I am a pretty good Paleo eater.  I stay away from bread, grains, rice, pasta, etc.  But I went home this Christmas and my mother made her famous lasagna with her AMAZING meat sauce.  I am Italian and so I decided that I was going to go against my normal Paleo eating habits and go with how I used to eat.  I went big on the Lasagna, I had some bread, I also ate the vegetable and the amazing salad.  I will tell you right now, the lasagna tasted so good!!!!!  It was like my tongue was dancing in all the amazing flavors.  I was thinking I could eat forever!!!  After I handled 2 large helping of food, I sat back.  First I thought, "did I eat to much? nahh  it wasn't more than when I eat a whole steak, lots of vegis, avocado and a good salad".  Then I thought, "wow maybe bread isn't all that bad for you".  And about 15 minutes I got the answer to that question.........I became CARB DRUNK!  I have never felt this feeling other than when you would drink past your fun buzz and then you are that that point of being tired, head spinning, etc drunk.  This was exactly how I felt.  If these wheat and grains are so good for you, then why would it make me feel like this??  This isn't what "good for you" feels like.  I think EVERYONE needs to experience this feeling.  Maybe after the next Paleo Challenge, we will have a big Italian dinner and have everyone bring, make and eat some insane Italian food.  Then we will see what happens.  I do need to say though, Mom, even though I felt like this after I ate your lasagna, it was so amazing and i would do it again!!!!!

We will only have the 8am class tomorrow!!!!!!!

FEEL THE BURN!!!!!
