Crossfitters like us like to utilize these new functional bodies out in the real world.  We can hike better, play better, and the list goes on.  But in your quest to do some amazing things, have you ever done something that went a little awry?  Here's one from me:  Its 2 years ago on the 4th of July and I decided I wanted to try to get us on the main page with a video of me doing 30 muscle-ups for time in my fire turn-outs and on air.  I felt good with the normal 30 and figured it would be tough but doable.  So I decided to try it with everything minus the mask just to give it a test.  I was having a tough time getting up and over my hands with the weight of the bottle behind me.  So I decided that if I put it on the front of me then I would be able to get up and over more efficiently.  I took the pack from my back and strapped the bottle to my chest.  I then lifted my knees to make sure that the bottle wasn't going to come up and hit me in the face or anything goofy like that.  I grabbed the rings and was determined to make the kipping muscle-up work.  I took a really huge back swing and kicked my legs up SUPER hard trying to build as much momentum as I could.  As I did that, my knees hit the bottle and shoved the bottle, EXTREMELY FAST, right into my face!!!  I about knocked myself out and off the rings with the one big blow!!!  All I remember seeing was a big flash of white light and the quick numbing of my lip and nose as I came off the rings.  I had that mad-brain feeling where I wanted to swing at whoever came near me.  MAN THAT HURT BAD!!!  Needless to say, it was something that wasn't very smart.  So, what about you out there in crossfitland?  Any of you have any stories like that?  POST IT IN THE COMMENTS:)
