So even though today you will see we have a nice hefty met-con workout followed by some strength, i have something to show you.  Why is it that so many people only do very light weight movements, or only body weight movements and they say it is better for them because it promotes less injury, etc, etc?  I never understood this!!!  We say all the time in our training that we are getting you ready for anything and everything!  If you dont lift heavy, then you will NOT be able to lift heavy out in the real world!!!  We talk about deadlift and how important it is and that it is actually the most functional movement we have right?  Well check out this video!!!  Do you think the motorcycle guy wishes that more of these people lifted heavy in their trainings?  You have to hand it to the people for coming to together and making this happen.  But the next time you wonder why we are lifting heavy that day, just think about this video!!

5 rounds:

  -12 reps Chest to Bar Pull-ups

  -9 reps Squat Snatches (95#, 65#)

  -6 reps Hand Stand Push-ups

800m Run

20 reps Burpees.

(if you finish before the time, get your rest and then go into the strength part)

Front Squat

Warm-up, 5 reps @ 75% of 1RM, 3 reps @85% of 1RM, Max reps @ 90% of 1RM
