It has been really fun to hear all the "new" people talking about watching the Crossfit Games on ESPN2!  Most have been really impressed by what they have seen and its nice to be able to introduce our world to them this way.  I did go on the comment board for ESPN2 and saw that some people had some negative comments about it.  It was really weird to see "I do REAL sports, not exercises", or " its great and everything but I do those thing to get ready for my real sport".  But what was so obvious that these people didn't seem to understand was that all the athletes were doing components of so many other sports all at once!  Running, Lifting, Gymnastics, Swimming, Body Weight Movements, Cycling, and Strongman Movements.  How can you say its not a sport?  The dictionary defines sport as "an athletic event that requires skill or physical prowess often as a competitive nature".  Well it seems to me that the GAMES definitely fit the bill!!!  Crossfit IS the sport of Fitness!!!  How do you answer if Crossfit is a sport or not?  Post it in the comments!!
