Competition....some love it and some hate it.  Below is an interview with Annie Sakamoto of Crossfit Santa Cruz Central.  She talks about her experience at the 2011 Reebok Crossfit Games this year.  Its interesting to listen to on of the originals in the game of crossfit say that she was scared to compete.  she said she had high expectations of herself and didnt want to let herself down.  But it wasnt until she let go of this and competed for the sake and the love of doing crossfit.  she said it was one of the most comforting and relaxing things to just go out and do your best and love the events for what they are.  If you watched her through the Regionals and then through the Games, you can see how joyful she was, how happy she was to be doing what she loved to do.  She's been doing Crossfit now for 8 years.  Do you think you will love it as much as she does after 8 years?  This interview is inspirational to me.  I am extremely competitive and do not like to lose.  I try extremely hard to just let myself do the best i can in each workout and if I win then great.  If i lose, then as long as i did my best, i am happy with myself and my world.  The main point to this story is to do the best you can at whatever it is you do and love your life because you get to do it.  Does competition hinder you or help you??

     *hold a KB or DB in each hand and swing them together so yes you are doubling the weight you normally will do

     *  If you have to wait for a rower, do air squats until its your turn.

*Max weight for 4 steps with each leg.  Take off the rack, jerk the weight up then start your lunges
