It amazing that when i talk about Crossfit to some people, all they think is that its a workout for total bad-asses and crazy people.  They hear what we are doing and can not get their mind around the fact that EVERYONE should be doing this workout.  I personally think the main thing that stops people is that they are just usually afraid of working out hard.  Now I understand that making yourself uncomfortable is not really a normal thing but if you understand WHY you are doing it then hopefully it would make more sense.  We NEED to put ourselves in uncomfortable places so that we are physically able to handle it when that moment in life occurs when we are uncomfortable.  Sitting on the elliptical machine watching tv is not getting you ready for anything.  We want people to understand that EVERYTHING we do is scalable to their ability level.  What this does is allow EVERYONE to participate at the same time.  Each athlete in the gym that day will be involved in the same basic movements and same basic workout.  We aren't trying to scare anyone away from the gym.  We want to WELCOME everyone to come and try it out.  One of the greatest things we have in the gym are not the human machines and monster athletes, its those people that really didn't workout before, or its been years since they have, they came and gave the INFERNO a shot an now they are HOOKED!!!!  They usually become bigger fanatics that the monsters.  The confidence they have , the body changes, the life changes, etc.  Don't be afraid of us!  All we will do is make your WHOLE LIFE better!!!!!  That we guarantee!
