I see it happen each and everyday at the box.....CONFIDENCE being born!!!  Soon people will start to figure out that confidence in yourself doesn't come from a number on the scale.  It comes from being able to do things.  The VAST majority of people who don't come to the gym  (...yet..) are usually scared of what will happen when they are in here.  They hear how hard it is.  They hear people talking about breathing so hard or feeling like they might puke.  They hear about tons of weight being thrown around.  And maybe these things are true, but when you look at the members of the gym, you can see them not worrying about it.  Their self-confidence growing before your very eyes.  You will see house wives that never lifted before throwing weight around.  You will see Middle-agers bouncing around like they are kids again. You will see ex-athletes reclaiming their athleticism.  You will see young kids improving their coordination and movement!  One of my favorite things to tell our athletes is to NEVER be afraid of the bar.  The weight maybe heavy, and maybe you have never even tried it before but don't be afraid of it.  YOU WILL GET IT!!!  Look at the bar, smile, and rip it off the ground (using the proper movement of course).  And if you get it, your confidence will explode.  If you dont, dont fret.  You know you can try again tomorrow.  And just the fact that its moving should increase that confidence.  THATS RIGHT!!!!  ITS LIKE A GARDEN IN HERE!!!!!  GROWING CONFIDENCE!!!!  Kill it today!!!
