I've been hanging out up in Santa Cruz with my Crossfit Media team this week. Its made up of some of the best Crossfitters and Crossfit Coaches around. Its amazing how much knowledge is out there to tap into. We actually have been making coaching videos for the main site that will be on soon. It was really fun to coach but then also fun to watch the others coaching and see if I would have made the same corrections. The knowledge in our group is amazing. But its really important because the general public, and those that are not fans of crossfit, think that our entire idea of crossfit is just to do our moves fast. And the answer is that we do want it done fast, BUT, we need the technique there to make it done correctly. The funny thing that people don't understand is that the more correct you do the movement, the faster the movement will be. This is why we take so much time with you, and make constant corrections on you, and even scale with many of you because we want you to learn the movements, gain consistency in those movements and then we can increase the intensity of those movements. So the answer is that we want the movements done FAST and RIGHT:)
NEXT WEEK WE ARE DECREASING THE NUMBERS OF CLASSES TO 16 TOTAL. WE WILL HAVE 4 SLOTS FOR NEW/VISITING PEOPLE.
