The power of positive thinking is SO damn powerful!!  I know everyone hears this and most blow it off.  But its truly amazing!  Let me give you a little story: Chris Spealler, the ONLY person to go to EVERY single Crossfit GAMES has qualified once again in a spectacular comeback show this past weekend at the Southwest Regionals.  He won "Diane" with a world record time, then hits a 13th and a 19th place in 2 of the heavier workouts.  Being that he is only 155#, he had to do 30 hang cleans with 225# and then do one arm dumbbell snatches with 100#.  It took a toll on him and his ranking for sure.  It moved him down to 8th place.  Chris who is the consummate competitor never let down and didn't let any negative thought break him.  He came back with a 2nd place in event 4 with all the squats and pull-ups.  Event 5 was the snatch ladder, obviously a big mans event.  Chris gets into the 225 weight and misses but is able to get an extra 66 double unders and getting him a 5th place.  This moves him up to 4th place overall.  The final event comes down and he places second which puts him into the 3rd and final spot to the GAMES.  The moral of the story, DO NOT EVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF AND STAY POSITIVE BECAUSE GOOD THINGS COME FROM GOOD THOUGHTS!!!!

REMEMBER WE HAVE THE 630AM CLASS TODAY AND WEDNESDAY THIS WEEK!!!  REGISTER FOR THEM ON MINDBODY!!!!  WE WILL BE CLOSED THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH THE WEEKEND FOR THE REGIONALS DOWN AT CAL POLY POMONA!!!!!!   OUR TRAINERS AND TEAM WILL BE COMPETING AGAINST THE BEST IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA IN HOPES OF MAKING IT TO THE GAMES!!!  Sorry for the inconvenience, but we gotta go BIG!!!!

          *take weight from the rack.  do max reps of shoulder press until failure, then switch to max reps of push press until failure, then switch to push jerks until failure.  Make sure you pick a weight that you can get at least 5 strict shoulder presses with.
