Is more better?  I know there are some people who will do a CrossFit workout, or even one of our workouts and then feel they need to go run after, or then go to the gym.  Why?  I know that some people are so obsessed about their body that they NEED to make sure they put in 5 hours of physical activity a day.  I know that others think they need to do more workouts so they are "ultra fit".  Does more really work?  If its because they think that running 3-5 miles at a 10-12 mile pace is going to get them anything extra other than time away from their life, then they are missing it.  If you are working out TO YOUR ULTIMATE RELATIVE INTENSITY, they you are doing EVERYTHING you need to workout-wise for your body.  We really arent meant to be under physical duress for hours on end on a regular basis.  This actually makes your body kick some Cortisol into your blood and it starts to work against you: storing fat, increased inflammation in your body, increased resting heart rates, etc.  You are supposed to be workout to decrease all this not increase it.  For those that want to be "ultra fit", the same thing applies.  The ONLY time this makes sense to do is when you are training for an event or competition.  You want your body to ready for a multi-workout day if thats what they workout is.  But for a regular basis, it really doesnt serve much of a fitness goal.  Do your daily workout, hit it AS HARD AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN, get good sleep, take a day off every forth day or so, and live your live healthy!  You will reap the benefits!!

NEXT MONTH WE WILL BE STARTING OUR NEW ON RAMP FOUNDATIONS CLASS!!!  THIS WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHTS AT 730PM AND SATURDAY AT 1045AM.  WE WILL NOT HAVE THE NORMAL CLASS DURING THE 730PM TIME SLOT ON THOSE DAYS.  THIS WILL BE TIME FOR NEW PEOPLE TO COME AND TRY OUT THE INFERNO AS WELL AS GET THROUGH THE FOUNDATIONS CLASS.  NORTHERN INFERNO WILL BE DOING THE SAME THING EXCEPT ON MONDAYS, TUESDAY  and WEDNESDAY AT 8-9PM AND YOU WIL BE ABLE TO EACH GYM TO GET YOUR 6 DAYS IN!!  STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFO!!

     Plyo Push-ups to stacked plates (16", 12")

     Any Clean and Jerk (185#, 115#)

     5-5-5-5

     *warm up well so that your 1st set is 75% of your 1RM OHS.   Once you hit your sets, do them at the tempo of 35X0 (3 seconds descend, 5 second hold, explode up and immediately go into next rep)
