So you have been workout for a while with us now.  You finally understand what a clean and jerk is.  You know what a burpee is and how awesome it is.  You have run, jumped, lifted, pushed, pulled and thrown.  You know the workouts are super hard and you have had some improvement, but it just doesnt seem like you have had the improvement that you thought you would get.  What's the problem?  Well, first off, CrossFit is not a magic pill.  It really is one of those "you get out of it what you put into it".  Its not about how much of a crazy face you make because its hard.  Its not about how much you scream while you are lifting.  Its about Intensity.  The faster you do the work (with correct of form of course) the more intensity is created and the more you get out of the workout.  But, if this is the only part you are thinking about, then you are missing the big picture. Your nutrition is the FOUNDATION of your entire workout.  If you arent eating right, you will only get so far with your workout.  If I asked you what your eating is like and your answer is "well I eat pretty good most of the time".....then you are eating like s@#t.  Thats right you heard me.  If your fuel is crap then you will only advance so far.  You will not lose weight like you want, or have energy like you want, or have gains like you want.  What you put in your mouth IS the foundation of your entire workout program.  So, how is your eating?
