Personal trainers have ALWAYS say that the workouts they give you will make your body look this way or that way.  They will tell you that their coaching will keep you safe and enable you to achieve gains like no other.  EVERYONE says this.  So how do you know if what they are saying is true or not?  First, do you get a feel that they know what they are talking about or are they just using the "right" words.  A good trainer is going to be able to figure out a way for you to understand what you are supposed to do.  That doesnt mean you will get it on the first try but you should be able to understand what you need to do in the movements.  Second, have you made sure to give their program an honest try and then assess the results?  This means that you dont go shopping around for advise from all directions.  Stick with the plan and then see if has any merit.  Did you make any gains?  If you did, then you are on a good track.  And third, are they able to continue to give you coaching tips as you become a better athlete?  A good coach is going to be able to help ALL athletes at ALL levels.  Its not just repeating the same cues you do for a newbie.  There are MANY good coaches out there and there are MANY that arent.  Dont waste your time with those that are wasting your time.  Give it a shot, assess, then move if you need to.  The coaches at the Inferno Family are here to push you to your ultimate ability.  Our goal is to constantly have you improve.  Let the improvements begin!!
