Patience is a virtue......we have all heard that.  It applies to EVERYTHING that we do.  Patience doesnt mean to sit around and wait for ever.  It means to move at the precise time you need to move.  To wait.............then attack.  To not rush something just because its tough or hard, but to be confident in your abilities then hit it when the optimal time is so that you get maximal benefits from it.  We talk about patience in Oly lifting; waiting long enough to get that full extension even though the weight is heavy and you want to rush to get underneath it, but it also applies in learning new movements; wait until you learn the basics and the fundamentals before you think about attacking a technically moves even though it would be SO COOL if you could do it. Even though it sounds like im saying that patience means to be slow, hesitate, or wait, please see it more as precision action.  Remember hold back until its the optimal time to execute.  Use this in all activities: sports, career, life, etc.  Go get em!!
