Scaling movements is one of the MOST important things about our training at the INFERNO.  We do it for many reasons but the most important is so that each person in the class is able to get the same physical response to the workout as everyone else.  Our job is to make it so that the times and scores are all pretty close.  This shows that everyone is working at about the same intensity.  But something we need to remember is that a scale is used for many different reasons: range of motion issue, flexibility  issue, strength issue, conditioning issue, etc.  As we improve our "issue", we also need to adjust the scale that we are using so that we can keep improving our movement.  This means its something simple like adding more weight or using a smaller band.  But it will also mean that you need to not do the EXACT same scale.  Change it to something that fits the needs of your current status.  Push the boundaries of your abilities so that you keep on improving!!:)
