The white board is an import part of what we do in the gym.  What it is NOT used for is to embarrass members of the gym.  Our community is a group of people that put themselves, and what they do, on the line everyday.  Defenses are stripped away, responsibility is taken, pride in giving what you got is grown.  This is what the whiteboard does.  The name on the board and the score next to it is a sense of pride.  Its a "this is me and what i did!", not a "look at me" or a "i beat them".  And with the safety of your people, you know that it doesnt matter what you have on the board, you'll get a high-five for it.  So you are being held accountable in the safest way possible.  Yeah i know, some will say that posting the scores will push some unhealthy competition and make some lie or cheat about their score.  Sure its possible, but i honestly dont think thats a large percentage of the group.  And they are just hurting themselves.  The INFERNO family is a support group, and the white board is a visual for us to cheer for all the members that went through a hellacious workout with us and lived to talk about it.  Be proud of your numbers:) FEEL THE BURN!!!
