So many places out there THINK they are doing Crossfit.  So many gyms THINK they are doing "Crossfit-like" workouts, or its just any other interval training or intense workout on DVD.  The thing is that Crossfit is a program.  A magically devised system of workouts to give the user a broad based general fitness program that has a true goal.  Its not about sweating.  Its not about breathing hard (yes both of these things will happen so you dont need to worry about burning calories and looking good).  Its about increasing your work capacity (do more work), across broad times (everything from a 1 rep max to a 24 hour adventure race) and modal domains (any type of task in life, sport or career). If you have a body that can perform better, it will look better.  The hot body is the by product of the program but not the goal.  Functionality. Be able to do more.  Do this for longer and you will be hot for a LONG time! Dont get misguided by the programs out there.  If its not Crossfit Inferno, then it aint Crossfit and it definitely aint INFERNO:)
