When i was Boston, the one word title for the East Coast Championship was UNCOMMON.  I thought it was such a cool thing.  Uncommon can have a negative connotation meaning weird or not normal.  But i love the positive spin on it: unique, not usual, not the regular, not common.  Sure, this was because of all the badasses that were competing that weekend, but think about what we have you do at the INFERNOs each and EVERY day.  Its not normal.  Its not common.  Its not regular.  Crossfit is not unique anymore like it was when we first started.  There are so many gyms out there. And there are so many watered down versions of what people think Crossfit is.  But what we do is PROVEN to work, at all levels of fitness.  Its not normal because it is tough.  But even though it is tough, we make sure to modify and scale so that you get the correct response from the workout.  Its not common because what we do is NOT just about bouncing around and doing "whatever" movements.  There is a VERY specific plan and reason for the things we do each day.  And finally, its not regular because most regular gym goers sit on a bike or treadmill or just lift and watch the latest Oprah, Ellen, or ESPN shows.  We are not every crossfit gym.  If yo dont believe me.....just come and see:)  We are.......our members are......UNCOMMON!
