Ever been in a rut?  The same thing happens everyday.  The same routine.  Even the fact that you workout everyday.  Sure the workouts are different but its still the same thing everyday.  All of a sudden there is a shade on your "lense of life".  Believe me i know life isnt all rainbows and sunshine.  But how do you kick these funks?  You NEED to take an active approach to it.  You dont need to just wait for it to change, you need to make the change.  Sometimes all it takes it stopping and "smelling the flowers".  Stop for a second and see the sunset, or the ocean, or the smile of your kid.  Or take a different way to work, walk the stairs instead of taking the elevator.  Any of these things can and will change your view of even a moment and then this will help to pop you out of the rut you made for yourself.  We all hate change but change makes us grow.  When we get in these ruts, all we need is a little change and it will help us move from that spot forward.  Just give yourself a little bump:)
