Is it EVER ok to come in and workout at 60-70%...................yes:)  Lets say that you are one that likes/needs to workout 5-6 days a week.  Your body might be able to handle it one week to go all crazy for the entire week.  But then lets say ou have school and studying, or your kids are sick, or you dont get sleep , etc then you may start to feel very tough to get yourself to come in or to remotely push hard.  When this is the case, you have to allow yourself to take an easy day.  Easy may mean drop the weight, or not worry about pushing super hard.  If you MUST get your day in, then make it so you enjoy the day.  When you take the pressure off yourself for the moment, you allow your brain to relax, you smile, have fun, then this will change the chemicals in your brain and body.  It will help you to relax and recover so that you can truly come back and get ready to hit it!  Truth be told.........you get your gains when you recover.  Not by crushing yourself daily:) FEEL THE BURN!!!!
