Do what you need to do so you can do what you want to do.  This seems like such an easy to understand statement but it happens all the time where we flip it around.  We get so into things that we want to do, that we end up falling behind in the things we need to and then we get stuck having to attack this large plate of stuff.   We get pissed that we have to do this stuff.  We get angry.  We cant work efficiently.  It takes longer than it should.  Yep it sucks.  Basically, the way you stop these things from happening is to stay up on your crap.  Tell yourself to do what you need to so you can do what you want to, until you get your crap done, then you get to truly enjoy the stuff you want to do.  You can do it:)
