"What doesnt kill us, makes us stronger!"  This is a very well know quote and gets used quite a bit.  Do you believe what its saying?  Lets take the opposite side of the quote:  if it does kill you, then you arent stronger, youre dead.  Ok  thats kind of depressing hahah!  But lets think about what the actual quote is saying.  Basically the more you take, then the more you can take next time.  If you can make it through a very tough time, a painful time, an uncomfortable time, a mentally tough time, a physically tough time, then your pain threshold gets pushed back and you will be able to take more  if needed next time.  And as far as your brain knows, pain and discomfort are all the same.  So if you train yourself to be able to deal with discomfort then you will be prepared when "pain" pops up somewhere else.  Each and everyday you are here you get the chance to "make yourself stronger".  We wont kill you but we will give you plenty of opportunities to train yourself how to deal with discomfort.  Then you can push those limits back further everyday.  He who can deal with the most, wins:)
