(so i am talking to myself also as i write this....) We usually are in 1 of 2 different camps:  those that wish they had another 3 hours in the day and still cant get enough sleep and those that sleep all the time.  We know how important sleep is but it usually takes back seat to life and ll the things we need to do.  I know i have made countless resolutions to get more sleep but it never seems to work and then there are some that get tons of sleep but still are tired.  What the hell???  hear are some things to help you get your good sleep: 1) try to sleep at the same time every night.  Just like everything else, we can commit sleeping to a habit.  We are ready are built to sleep at certain times (when the sun goes down) take advantage when you can.  2) do not look at your phone or computer right before you go to sleep.  The light from the screen excites your brain and make it harder for you to "shut down".  I know they have computer apps that make you screen light a different color which takes out certain wave lengths and it helps but sheesh just give your technology a rest. 3) no caffeine before bed.  Even if you can fall asleep after drinking the post dinner coffee, it still excites your brain and makes it so you do not enter REM sleep as fast and the way you should.  4) Realize just how important sleep is.  This is when you heal, repair and recover.  If training, mobility, and nutrition are important to you, then sleep NEEDS to be seen as JUST as important.  Without it, you will only go so far:) FEEL THE BURN!!!
