Yep you were right......posture.  The weird thing about trying to have good posture is that its really hard and it even hurts.  This doesnt make any sense.  But its just like when someone can do a push up but its the way wrong and unsafe movement, we show them how to move right and then they cant do it and their arms are super sore the next day.  The point here is that its hard and it hurts because we have not had the correct posture (or push ups if we keep going with that one) for YEARS.  If you are 28 years old, then more than likely, you have had some bad movement or posture for about 20-24 years.  This is mostly because we get lazy.  We slouch, we stand on our joints rather than using our muscles to support us, we sit a ton, we dont move properly to get things, we get injured and then figure the best way to fix it is to not move and then we develop a bad movement pattern.  All of these things lead us to not move or stand correctly and safely.  It takes time, it takes work, and it takes someone to call you on it whenever you arent thinking about it.  Yes its a pain in the ass but over time it will get better, the muscles will get stronger and you will start to be in a better position, not just when you are lifting, but all the time:) FEEL THE BURN!!!
