Do you know WHY you do what you do?  Geeeeesh i ask weird questions lol! But think about it.  Do you really know exactly why you do what you do.  There are things we do out of habit, things we do out of fear, things we do out of respect, things we do out of love and this goes from very specific actions like ones we do in our jobs, to the normal everyday things like drinking coffee in the morning.  We have all heard the "for every action there is a consequence"  statement.  This is very true.  If you do something....anything, there will be a response to that action somehow. Because of this, we need to own each of our actions.  They arent things that happen in a vacuum.  We are literally responsible for each and every action we do.  This a good thing because if we see it this way then we will be sure to understand the whys of each action better.  Instead of justifying or making excuses for the actions, we will understand exactly why we do it and what we are hoping to achieve by doing it.  So take a second and see if you can figure it out.  You might be surprised about what you discover:)
