How do you know how hard you are working?  Is it whether you throw up or not?  Is it your heart rate or how hard you are breathing?  When we talk how "hard" you are working, we are talking Intensity.  Intensity is NOT a subjective number.  Its a mathematical formula tat can tell exactly how much Power you are generating.  This is WORK, or Force (weight of the object) x Distance (or how far and how many reps it has traveled) divided by Time.  So the more work you can do in the shorter amount of time equals more power produced and the more Intensity.  Now the next thing you have to realize is that we have many different members with different abilities.  Because of this, each of you will be working out at a different Intensity level.  When we give the workouts out, we always try to make it so that everyone is working for about the same amount of time.  This doesnt mean the Intensity is the same but we are trying to make the Response of the workout the same for each member.  The response is trying to keep all of you using the same metabolic engine.  So if the workout is supposed to take 3 minutes but you do it in 11 mins then you are in a different engine.  But all you need to do is come in, make sure you are doing the right weights for you and then the numbers will take care of themselves.  Push hard and the magic will happen:) FEEL THE BURN!!!
