People are terrified to do what you do.  They see these crazy numbers on our daily blog and wonder "who the hell does that?!"  Let me explain why we do what we do.  All the other crossfits out there will program to the masses because they want people to come in the door.  This is fine....EXCEPT......once their group gets used to it, then they will plateau and not find anymore gains.  Then end up not going anymore because "crossfit doesnt work."  We program for the best and scale/modify for the rest.  We dont do this because we only want to train Games athletes.  We do this because in CrossFit, as Coach Glassman has said, the difference between an elite athlete and an aging grandmother is not by type but by intensity.  This means we ALL should be doing the same types of workouts.  Not EASIER workouts or workouts without weight.  We want the same responses from the workout based on our abilities and strengths.  This is how we can have our elite athletes and our brand new athletes all working out together, as a team!  On the outside, people see the written workout and think its impossible.  Hopefully since you're on the inside, you can help pass that knowledge on to those that want to improve their fitness, get a good sweat on, get a great workout.  We will always set the bar high so that you ALWAYS have something to shoot for and improve:) FEEL THE BURN!!!
