We had out some unique and painful workout daily.  I can litterally watch eachof you talking to yourself.  Trying to tell yourself to hang on, but oh man its heavy, but just get one more rep, etc.  So many thoughts about wanting to put the bar down, to stop, to ease up on the pain, to make it stop, etc.  I know all of you have heard that voice before.  And even though we are here working out our bodies, there is an almost greater workout that is happening between our ears.  There is that little voice saying to stop but do you stop?  Every time you are able to push that line of stopping back further, you gain in strength, ability, mental toughness, pain tolerance.  Those who have control of their minds have a huge advantage on the people around them.  Everyone feels the pain or the discomfort but those who can stay in there longer will win.  There are tons of athletic stories about the underdog with heart who wins just on mental toughness (a la Rocky Balboa), but they really are true.  One of the best sayings in CrossFit is "being more comfortable with being uncomfortable".  Here you will not only be able to push that limit physically, you can do it mentally as well. And with that power, the vast majority of life's tough incidents and activities will become easier.  How far can you push back the voice? FEEL THE BURN!!!!
