Learn the Movement, Show Consistency with the Movement, only then add Intensity to the Movement.  This is our method.  So many think that CrossFit is all about throwing proper form out the window for the sake of speed.  And even though speed is important, the first step of the method is to learn the movement.  "But how will i get a good workout??"  What we will do is make sure the weight is appropriate for the level of movement ability you have.  From there we will allow you to move quickly and maybe even increase the reps so that you are getting a good workout but not putting yourself in a realm to get injured.  Once the movement pattern is consistently good then we will increase the weight appropriately to challenge your currently level of ability.  We keep walking this stair way as you increasingly get better.  So the answer to the question of "which is more important: proper form or speed", the answer is YES.  And we will make sure both are appropriate:)
