Coming back from the 2016 Crossfit Games i was thinking about all the things i saw.  Not only were there AMAZING performances but there were some incredible stories.  There was one thread i saw that ran through the whole thing:  belief in yourself.  The difference between performing well and not performing well was the belief that you ARE SUPPOSED to be there, and the you are SUPPOSED to do well in this event.  This isnt a belief that you will win, thats something you cant control.  But you can believe that you WILL do well, that you will be strong, that you will not give up, that you will keep pushing, that you WILL keep trying, that you WILL not stop until you are done or until the horn beeps.  Your brain is the MOST powerful item in your body.  Yes we train our muscles to lift, jump and run, but we dont believe that we can do something, then we cant do it.  But if you can control your brain and the way it thinks, then your performances will be amazing.  This takes practice and work.  Its like any other muscle, you need to build it up.  Make a point to practice believing in yourself in everything you do: not just workouts, but your job, school and everything else around you:) FEEL THE BURN!!!
