There is a term in CrossFit training called VIRTUOSITY.  This word means to do the common uncommonly well.  What this means is that your foundation of whatever it is that you are doing should be "nails" before you go to the next step.  For example, if you dont have very good pull ups and your chin never really gets over the bar, then you shouldnt do your workout ith a bunch of bad pull ups.  Or if you want muscle ups super bad but you dont have a good swing, or you dont have a ring dip yet, then you need to fix these things first before you waste time trying to get a muscle up.  You need to remember that all movements have a foundation.  If the foundation is weak then the rest of the move will not be able to be very good.  Always quest for the best movement.  Master your foundations before you move forward.  Do this and your success with the movements will soar!!:) FEEL THE BURN!!!
