Im not a believer in participation awards.  The fact is that there are winners and losers.  Now even though i hate to lose more than anything, the fact is that it happens.  Whether you are watching the CrossFit Games or you are watching the Olympics, the fact is that every athlete that is out there are the best of the best of the best in the world.  So yes there will be a person thats last, and there will be those "other" heats that dont have the big names.  But they all are amazing athletes.  Watch what you see for the amazing story that unfolds.  And as my favorite saying goes, "The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.
