So dont get me wrong.  Im proud of the gymnasts, swimmers and track athletes in the Olympics.  But i have to have to give it up for those athletes and teams that get JUST ONE SHOT for their dream.  The difference here is the pressure.  As i was growing up i had my sport icons that i looked up to.  One of my favorite wrestlers, Lee Kemp, was at the peak of his career for the 1980 Olympics, but because of a boycott by USA, he missed his one chance and had to wait another 4 years.  He didnt make it back.  The womens soccer team, the defending world and Olympic champions lose in the quarter finals.  I saw a sprinter from France do a false start and his Games ended.  This shows just how special the "chance" is that you get when you go to the Olympics.  Four years of training can be gone in the blink of an eye.  To all of you that only get your one chance, My respect to you is massive.  Remember the journey.  The Journey is what defines you as a person.  If you win, then congrats!  If you dont then thank you for competing and giving everything you have:) FEEL THE BURN!!!
