Crossfit is designed to help people achieve fitness:  an increased work capacity across broad times and modal domain.  If you boil that down, it makes people more athletic.  Many times when im working with teams or firefighters or cops or military, it might seem that there should be a more "sport specific" design.  But thats not true.  Our program makes a person a better athlete and better athlete will be better at whatever activity they are involved in.  Its a given!  The great thing is that when you improve "functionality", and this means movements that are translatable across ALL activities.  So it doesnt need to be sport specific.  The thing is that we all move a particular way, we are MADE to move a particular way.  The training will increase you in all the areas of fitness.  But if you decide to "cherry pick" the workouts you dont like, then you WILL stay a lopsided individual.  You wont be able to thrive.  Embrace the programming and let it make you an better version of yourself!!!:) FEEL THE BURN!!!
