The Squat is the most important movement we have.  Not because we get to lift heavy with it in heavy back squats. But more because if we dont have a good squat then we will move in ways that increase our chance of injury as well just puts us in bad positions.  If your air squat isnt picture perfect, then you will have a VERY difficult time being safe for any cleans, weighted squats, and any overhead squat movement.  Plus this will make you have to bend over to get anything off the ground.  Remember the way babies pick things up?  They squat down and grab it.  They dont bend over to grab it.  They just squat down.  So today we are going to work on that squats today!

…….15 min to work on Squat positioning.  Yes i know we all can squat but i have been seeing a TON of butt winks, and sloppy positions.  This will decrease your ability to lift more weight and increases your chance for injury.  It NEEDs to be tended to.  This will include use of PVC pipe to check neutral spine, squat therapy, foot position, understanding torso angle in a squat, and knee positioning.
