In every situation, you have two choices: either do it or dont do it.  This choice may have a different face based on the activity we may be talking about.  But regardless, it comes down to the do or dont do.  What this means is that for each choice there will be an effect attached to it.  Remember those books when you were kids where you would read a couple pages, then you had to make a choice and you would go to this page or that page, and continue the story from there? Basically the same thing happens here. if you have the option of picking going to the bars, going to the movies, going to eat, or staying home and doing homework, you still have initially two choices: go out or stay. What you need to think about are the consequences of your choice. There will be both positive and negative results with each choice and you will have to deal with them. Ok Bill so I get it but what the hell are you talking about?? Well I have seen people make decisions but not be very in-tuned to the consequences. It's like they get shocked by what happens. The majority of the time we know exactly what the consequences are. So why are we shocked?? I'd say it's because we don't want to be the cause of something bad happening to ourselves. It's easier to blame it on something or someone else. "They" are why it happened. It wasn't because we made the choice. We are NOT little twigs floating down the river of life. We are the masters of our own destiny, we steer the boat and decide where and how to go. This isnt supposed to be a downer. Actually it's supposed to be liberating. YOU are fully in control of YOU! So take control of that steering wheel and go where you want knowing where and why you are going there. Use your power of choice for you and your journey!!:)
