How many of you feel that you have mastered all of the movements that we do here the INFERNOs ? Well there really are so many things that we do in our training that it would honestly take more hours than we could give to master everything. The worst time to try and master a particular movement would be during a workout when you are exhausted. So yes every day we will spend time with progressions and noting the different scales and modifications for the movements but every week we have two days in which you can spend time doing these particular movements and learning and mastering them. The first would be the open gym times that the gyms have. I’m not talking about the open gym program but rather the time that each of the gyms have for you to come in and work on whatever you want to work on. The second would be Technique Thursdays. In this class will spend 15 to 20 minutes going over a particular movement and allow you some time to play with that movement so we can help give you some more individual time instruction. Now I understand that many of you may know how to do pullups or handstand push-ups but there is always room for improvement and we always have ways to push even the top people that have the movement down. My suggestion to you would be to try to never miss the Thursday workouts. I get it that might be a rest day and I understand that but you still are missing a valuable opportunity to come in and better your movements so that you can have better workouts on the days when you are in full workout mode! Never miss an opportunity to crush it!:)
