Strength.  Its something that many men want to get.  Its something tha t many women are afraid of getting.  Because of this, generally speaking, men will try to lift heavy, and women will try to not lift really any weight at all.  But what is true is that a stronger person is harder to kill than a weak one.  The cool thing about CrossFit and the training here at the INFERNOs is that Strength IS important.  FIrst you learn how to move, and the desire to want to lift more come after that.  For many it happens when its supposed to.  We dont need to push that.  Performance becomes the drive.    Sure its great to get that really heavy 1RM but whats even more impressive is the 3 RM, 5RM, and even the 10RM of lifts. And then even more impressive is the fact that you can move all that weight around while in the middle of a bunch of heavy breathing stuff! Strength isnt about being big and bulky.  Strength is about confidence. Strength is about not being afraid to move heavy shit.  Strength is about stepping up to the bar and giving it all you have.  Strength is about not being afraid to fail a lift.  Strength is the fortitude to not want to put the bar down.  Sure, big numbers are cool, but all this other stuff..........way cooler!  Dont ever be afraid to get strong:)
