There are so many things tha happen in the gym that make me soooooooo happy!!  I love to see people PRing, seeing people hit one of our workouts RX for the first time, seeing people get a skill they have been trying to so hard to get, seeing people lose weight when they have been battling with weight for so long, just to name a few.  But one of the things that tops the list for me is hearing when our female members will say something to the affect of "i just weighed myself and i weight more than i thought i would but i still fit in clothes when i weighed "X" much!" with a big smile on their face!!!  Its like the stereotypic mold that they have been dealing with for so long has finally shattered and they arent bound by the confines of what the magazines say they should weigh, or that they need to be skinny to be beautiful, or that they shouldnt have muscles or be strong.   This to me is one of the best things about CrossFit and our training.  Being a father of 2 girls, its important to me for them to be confident in themselves, to be proud of what they can do, to be strong, to be concerned about what they can do rather than what other people think they look like, and to be happy about what they look like.  This is years of bad social programaming being shattered one girl/woman at a time.  Makes this Dad smile:)
