Yeah i know there wasnt a blog yesterday.  Why you ask?  Because i was de-Christmasing and doing an assessment of 2016 for myself.  I honestly like this idea better than waiting for the 1st and then tossing out these New Years Resolutions that, for most of us............stop happening after about 1.5-2 weeks.  I really think the reason this happens is because they are these"dreams" that are just hanging out there in outer space.  They arent connected to anything other than we want this or that to happen, or we saw that this thing worked great for this other person we know.  But we need to take an assessment of our world to see exactly if these things will work, should work, or even if its what we should be putting time and effort to.  Plus, and this was the coolest quote i saw yesterday was inspired by a hero of mine, Dan Gable.  Gables quote was "if its important, do it EVERYDAY".  Then my buddy Tony Blauler took it a step further and said "i have no new year resolutions.  There is nothing i want to do tomorrow that im not already working on."  And the ONLY way to feel this way is because he has assessed his world throughout the year.  This NEEDS to be something we do regularly.  It needs to be honest.  You need to be able to tell yourself that you did or did not do something well.  And if you didnt, then why didnt you.  Dont give yourself excuses like you didnt have time, etc.  You need to assess exactly "why" you didnt have time.  Could you adjust your schedule at all?  Do you still think that its important to spend time on?  Learn from the mistakes, make a plan then attack it like your life depends on it.  For some of the things, your life might truly depend on it.  Expect to work. But be excited about it. You get to be in it!  You get to make the change you want.  And this should happen ALL YEAR long!!!  Here we go! :)
