One of the absolute worst things in life is regret.  Regret is the feeling you have when you feel like you miss something that is/was important.  There is a little bit of guilt that is wrapped up in this feeling also.  The guilt usually stems from the fact that you missed the opportunity because you decide to do the "other" thing instead of the thing you are regretting.  Everyone has had little episodes of it and obviously there are all the quotes about "no regrets" and "carpe diem", etc.  But even with that, it doesnt mean to live life crazy.  It means that you need to think about the things you do.  We have this life and everything we do, and i mean EVERYTHING we do, we will remember and we will have to deal with what we did.  Dont ever make a decision thinking that you will be able to escape it.  But if you give honest thought to it, and do what you think is right, then your chances of regret will be decreased.  Hindsight is always 20/20 so you wont know if it was the right choice until afterwards, but if you do your due diligence to figure out the best choice, then you will be good:)
