So, you do all this working out and training but still never win the big competition.  How does that make you feel?  Do you quit?  Give it up?  Figure that it wasn't meant to be?  Hopefully not.  The thing about having a goal or something you want to accomplish is that there is a journey that's involved with it.  Through this journey you end up learning about yourself.  You test what you are able to take, test your dedication to your dream, push yoursef through times of discomfort, just to name a few.  Is it worth it?  I would say yes.  I have always believed that sport teaches some of the most important lessons for people.  Hopefully you can see that I didn't say winning did this but rather being involved in sports and actively pursuing your goal or your best.  The more times we can test ourselves in these situations, the more solid these lessons will be engrained in us.  Love the process. Love the journey.  Love what you do.  :)
