What does a winner have that a loser doesn't?  Well obviously they have a mark in the win column (duh) but how did they get there?  They have optimism!!  If you look at successful people in sports, in business, in life, they all have a positive outlook on life.  But it's easy to be optimistic when you are winning right?  Sure but you have to take steps to get there.  Step one:  We have to really understand that when you think positive, then positive things happen.  So check this out, there have been studies that have shown that if you think you will succeed then you have a 50% chance to do it.  But if you think you won't, you have a virtual 100% chance that you won't.  What seems like the better deal?  Let's go up to the next step?  An optimist sees the world as a glass "half full", meaning they constantly will see the good in situations or at least not get bogged down with the negatives.  The next step is to practice this skill.  Its the ol' "fake it til you make it" idea where you might be negative as hell, or think that things are REALLY bad but you do everything in your power to make yourself take the optimistic look at it and even say optimistic things even you dont really believe them yet.  The third step is that as you start having good things happening then it will get easier to be optimistic and it wont be fake but a true belief.  Then you will be able to reap the benefits of the "posotive begets positive" lifestyle.  No you wont win everything but when you are used to see the good in situations thenyou wil be able to adjust yourself when things seem bad.  In sports, you will believe in yourself and your skills, you will expect yourself to do well no matter what the situation because you wont get caught iin bad calls or weird situations, and your confidence will soar!  Start practicing NOW!!:)
