So I'm a sucker for comic books.  Obviously, I'm a fan of the X-men and all the Wolverine stuff, but when you look at the comics, in general, the characters all have something that makes them special.  A mutant power, a special power or gift.  But, at the same time, there is the thing that they have to struggle with.  Their stories all have to do with the battle between their gift and weakness.  And they are unsure about their gift or don't see it as a gift right away.  They don't like it.  They wish it was something else.  It's not what they would choose or they try to hide from it.  But when they accept and give into their gift they then realize the power of it and how, when they harness it, some really great things happen.  We are all pretty much the very same way.  Do you have something that you are good at that you really wish was something else or that you don't see as a real gift?  Sometimes these gifts are kind of obscure.  Do you care too much?  Do you trust too much?  Are you good at cooking?  Are you good at sculptures?  Whatever it is, it IS a gift because it's something that is YOU.  No one was put here to barely exist.  Yeah, there are plenty that do but I think it's because they haven't found a way to use or accept the gifts that they have.  Guess what, it won't be like anyone else because you aren't like anyone else.  For you to excel, you have to do your thing YOUR way.  But know that there will be things that you won't be able to do.  It's not a bad thing.  It's just how it is.  Don't worry about it.  Just keep pushing towards your gifts.  They will make you great:)
