One of the toughest things in the world is to be completely honest and truthful with yourself.  We live in a world of filters and when you're trying to keep your mind strong and you're trying to keep your head above water it's hard to truly look at yourself and evaluate exactly what it is that you're doing. Maybe it comes with age, but I find myself evaluating my world very regularly. It isnt a matter of trying to get that goal but rather to improve my current state or current situation. The only way you can honestly do that is by being able to sit down, stare yourself in the face in the mirror, and analyze everything you are doing, both good and bad. It's not about being hard on yourself or trying to put yourself down. It's about evaluation. It's about figuring out what the next best step will be. It's stepping outside your body and trying to take an unbiased look at yourself and your surroundings. The more honest and truthful you can be, the better plan of attack you will be able to create!!  :)
