We are here for the second installment of the Open for 2017.  When i was looking n facebook, i was hearing a TON of bitching about the workout.  "Its stupid that its dumbbells.  Its excluding people with the bar muscle ups.  These are too hard.  Those are too hard."  Did they forget how it was the first month they came to Crossfit?  Everything was hard, everything was difficult, and you really couldnt do that much at all.  But you kept working at it.  You kept trying and kept learning and got better each and every day until you were finally able to do this thing or that thing.  The point of the OPEN is NOT to get a daily workout.  You do that the other 359 days of the year.  The point of the OPEN is to test yourself and see if you are able to do something that you have never done before.  If you get yor first pull up, double under. bar muscle up, whatever, then AWESOME!!  CONGRATS!  If you dont, then what do you lose for trying?  NOTHING.  But if you dont try, and im talking about really trying, then you will NEVER know if you are getting better and actually able to make the jump and get your first whatever.  Dont worry about losing.  Dont worry about only getting 1 rep.  Just challenge yourself and see what you can accomplish with a positive and fired up mental state!  Good Luck today INFERNITES!!!!:)
