Change freaks everyone out.  Its not because of the fact that its different really, but its the uncertainty that the change now is going to be worse that what you were doing or had before.  This causes us to not even want to make the decision to do anything different at all.  Have you ever had to make a choice and you sat there....waiting......like the spinning wheel on your computer.......spinning........waiting...... well whats the hold-up?  Have you heard of "Paralysis by Analysis"?  This is when you are trying so hard to make the right choice that you end up WAY overthinking the choice and what might or might not happen.  You get so scared that you are going to make the wrong choice that you dont make ANY choice.  This cant happen. You need to be able to make a decision and move forward quickly.  Usually, the thing that holds us up is the fear of failure.  No one likes to fail but if you are afraid to fail then you will never do anything.  You cant see it as a failure or that you suck as a person.  See it as an attempt that had some good things and bad things.  Then fix it and move.  But you still have to make the choice to do it.  In your gut, you know the right choice to make.  Dont let all the outside "stuff" make the choice for you.  Then, and this is VERY important, once you make the choice, DO NOT LOOK BAD AND REASSESS THE CHOICE.  The choice was made so now you NEED to move forward.  There might be some good things and some bad things but you need to just move ahead.  Make the choice, turn the page and drive forward.  No looking back and think "what if i only....." Its a waste of time and energy.  Drive ahead!! :)
