React or Respond.  A reaction is a defensive action.  Its emotional and without logic because we feel as though we are at a disadvantage.  But because this is lead by emotions, we can lose control and say and do things that we normally wouldnt.  However, a reaction could be fueled by passion, which isnt bad as long as its centered on purpose.  Not purely an unexpected and unproductive stimulus.  A response is also a quick action to stimulus but it contains reasoning.  More of a logical and less emotion driving action.  A response can have more opportunities and choices of actions because you are able to take in information, learn, adjust and change due to logic and reason that is used.  This doesnt mean that we dont react to the things around us at times.  But when we feel these things happening, we need to try to let the helplessness go away by taking some deep breaths.  Focus on the things you can control.  Let the other stuff go.  The more you can control these feelings, the more you will be in control of your life and your wellbeing:)
